RWA 2012

9 Aug

Before I get into the RWA details, I’d like to assure you all that I am indeed, still alive.  Sorry for the abrupt break, but I’ve been doing a lot of writing lately as I’m quickly closing in on the ending of my first book.  With only a chapter and epilogue left (and then of course, some massive editing), I’ve been pretty distracted.

And finishing up means I’ll get to dive into the publishing realm once I’ve put the final coat of polish on it.  This leads me to the subject of this post, next year’s Romance Writer’s of America conference, RWA 2012!  After hearing all of the fun updates via Twitter this past year, I’m very very eager to attend the next one.  Even better yet, it’s being hosted right in my backyard in Anaheim, CA.  Here are the details:

What: RWA 2012 32nd Annual Conference
Where: Anaheim Marriott in Anaheim, CA
When: July 25-28, 2012

Tentative Schedule (per the RWA site)
July 25: Annual Literacy Autographing
July 26: Keynote Luncheon
July 27: Awards Luncheon
July 28: RITA & Golden Heart Awards Ceremony

Registration for RWA 2012 will begin in January, 2012.
